Membership is available to all greater Tucson area residents over the age of 17 who enjoy singing the great masterworks of the choral repertoire. While an audition is not required, prior choral experience and the ability to read music is highly recommended. The ability to learn your music in a timely manner is of utmost importance.
Singers will be required to provide proof of vaccination at the first rehearsal attended. Any family, friends, drivers, etc. attending rehearsals will also need to provide proof of vaccination. Safety practices such as social distancing and mask wearing will be welcome, but not required.
The Tucson Masterworks Chorale is excited to welcome singers to participate IN-PERSON in their Fall 2021 concert season. The Fall 2021 concert repertoire will feature Schubert’s Mirjams Siegesgesang, D942, as well as works by Aaron Copland, David Dickau, Christopher Tin, Luke Diamond, and more.
Online registration for the Fall 2021 season will be available starting July 26, 2021. We will, however, honor late registrations through the third night of rehearsals.
We do not have auditions for new members, just sign up! All members, both new and returning, need to fill out the online registration form. Click on the link below (Registration Form for TMC), fill out each section of the registration form, and then click on Submit. This will take you to our Square Store which will allow you to pay your membership dues online. You may elect to pay for either the Fall 2021 Season only (Half Year $90) or for the Full 2021-2022 Season (Full Year $170), click on Add to Cart, and then click on Checkout. You will then be prompted to enter your contact and payment information. Alternatively, you may pay your membership dues at the first rehearsal by cash, check, or credit card. Your music will be provided to you at rehearsal once you have completed the registration process.
The first rehearsal will occur on Monday, August 23 from 7:00-9:15 pm. Since Grace St Paul’s is not yet available rehearsals will temporarily be located at Christ Presbyterian Church, 6565 E. Broadway Blvd., just east of Wilmot.
The Tucson Masterworks Chorale is supported primarily by membership dues and donations from members and supporters. Membership dues are currently $170 for the full season (full year) or $90 for the individual Fall or Spring season (half year) and include one copy of the concert repertoire.
