The first rehearsal will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. on August 20. We will be singing portions of the masterworks of the stage – choruses from many of the most famous operas from the baroque to modern eras. Our second half will present lighter but historically significant choruses of the stage, namely those of musical theatre and operetta, demonstrating the development of the genre.
Our concert will be on November 11 at Grace St. Paul. In addition, we will perform on January 13, 2019 in Green Valley.
Rehearsals are held each Monday evening, late August to early May, from 7:00 to 9:15 p.m. at Grace St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 2331 E. Adams Street, Tucson. There may be one or two extra Saturday rehearsals prior to each concert. A dress rehearsal is scheduled during the week of the performance (usually the night before).
