About TMC
Tucson Masterworks Chorale (TMC) is the oldest independent choral arts organization in Southern Arizona. We continue a proud tradition that began in 1949 as a group of 18 singers, with Governor Samuel Goddard as our first president. We are proud of our long history of making great music in our community. TMC welcomes all new members who have a desire to sing with no audition and regardless of age, gender, race, creed or sexuality. We are a Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, governed by a volunteer board of directors.
Mission Statement
Tucson Masterworks Chorale strives to make the great masterworks of choral literature, from pre-Baroque to contemporary, accessible to singers and audience members from all walks of life. We endeavor to grow musically and to encourage cultural participation in our community.
