Our Fall concert, Gods and Mortals, centers on the theme of fate and features two major works by Johannes Brahms, Nänie and Schicksalslied. Additional repertoire includes the “Triumphal Scene” from Aida by Giuseppe Verdi, selections from Choral Hymns from the Rig Veda by Gustav Holst, and Lamentations of Jeremiah by Z. Randall Stroope, along with additional works performed by the Masterworks Chamber Singers.
Rehearsals begin on August 10.
